I hate horse racing now and have been on one of the coldest streaks I’ve ever had in any form of gambling. Needless to say I am so do. We got the Coolmore Lexington Stakes at Keenland and another just ok card at Santa Anita. I got a few plays today. An exacta box for the Coolmore and a pick 4 at Santa.

Keenland

Coolmore Stakes, Race 9, PT 2:15

Bet: Exacta Box, Cost: $36 ($6 bet)

I’m taking the 1 Krypton, 3 Distorted Dave, and 4 Bushwhacked. Krypton is 6-1, while Distorted Dave and Bushwhacked are both over 10-1 so it’s payday when we hit.

Santa Anita

Race’s 7-10, PT 3:36

Bet: Pick 4, Cost: $40

Race 7: Getting my iso out of the way early and taking the 4 Dewey’s Special. Looks to be the lone speed of the field and is starting as the 3rd fav at 9/2. Also factor in it’s my favorite trainer/jockey combo of Ron Ellis and Jose Valdivia Jr, they also team up 2 more time the rest of this bet.

Race 8: Not a great low level claimer so going 4 deep. The 1 Alphabet Cat offers our best chance for price at 10-1, otherwise the 4 Subpoena the Dress, 5 Wada Falls, and 8 Light of Star all will be hovering around as the favorite.

Race 9: A tough race for the San Simeon Handicap. Going to take 2 both are Ron Ellis trained horses. The 4 Mr Gruff looks to be the stand out of the race while the 5 Canonize is a young monster of a horse who I would iso but this is his first try on turf, but if he likes the grass watch out.

Race 10: A very tough maiden special to end it. A lot of first time racers and ones that haven’t won yet so going to need to spread. Taking 5 here. The 4 Kevlar Kid, 6 Eric’s Revenge, 8 Lunada Bay. 9 Wayman, and 10 Silver Style. I got a good feeling about today.
