Gatorade has dropped its endorsement deal with Tiger Woods, CNBC’s Darren Rovell reports.

It’s the third sponsor the world’s No. 1 golfer has lost since he became enmeshed in a highly public sex scandal following a November car accident.

“I can confirm that we no longer see a role for Tiger in our marketing efforts and have ended our relationship,” Gatorade spokesperson Jennifer Schmit told CNBC.

“However, our partnership with the Tiger Woods Foundation will continue. We wish Tiger all the best.” The company previously had dropped its “Gatorade Tiger Focus” sub-brand but said that decision came before the scandal emerged.

AT&T and Accenture also have dropped Woods deals. He still has agreements with Nike, EA Sports, Gillette and Tag Heuer.

Wow Gatorade, dropping the most famous athlete in the world because he enjoys having sex with women that aren’t his wife?

Even after he apologized?

That’s cold.

That’s G!

That’s the way corporate works… Just surprised it took this long to drop Tiger. How about a new Jeter line of Gatorade in 6 months? 4 sho!
