Help us sponsor the Rose Bowl

The Granddaddy Of Them All is looking for a new sugar daddy. Citi is out as presenting sponsor of the Rose Bowl after a seven-year run supporting college football’s most august bowl game.
Citi’s decision not to renew its deal mainly was based on flexibility and price, sources said. One of the main reasons why it decided to drop the game is because of ESPN’s restrictions over when and where it would spend its money as the Rose Bowl’s lead sponsor.
I’m not even sure why Citi cares where it’s money goes, I mean, it’s not like they have any of their own in the first place? I for one will let ESPN restrict when and where we can spend your our money as the Rose Bowl’s lead sponsor any day of the week, and twice on January 1st.
Alright guys, spread the word and let’s make this happen. Sell cookies and lemonade.Trade in Tom’s bus tokens for cash. Steal from a collection plate, beat up a hobo, do whatever, just get us the funds. It just seems appropriate that since Pasadena is essentially Oregon’s winter home, that a Eugene based international power in the blogging world would be the lead sponsor for the game.
I can just hear Musberger now; You are looking live at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, for the 97th Rose Bowl game presented by TheSportsBrewery.com.
It’s gonna be grand.

You guys would probably try and invite Ernie Kent to all the functions too.

Ernie is not my homeboy. I would veto him from being at any of the sweet functions that go along with hosting such a big event.
Sorry to disappoint you, Thomas.
