And the final rankings are here – or the only top ten that actually matters.  The Yanks have taken the top spot the last 3 months, so they are clearly a lock to win the series.  Let’s hear it – who are the teams that can take them down in the playoffs this year?  And, more importantly, looking back how did this team get our pre-season #8 ranking?  What kind of crack were we on?

1. Yankees

2. Rays

3. Twins

4. Braves

5. Rangers

6. Reds

7. Padres

8. Phillies

9. Red Sox

10. White Sox

A little premature conjecture here. The Phighten Phillies will dominate the NL play offs and the series. Three A list starters and a kick ass line up. No contest, start the parade.
