Not really sure why they were rioting in the first place. Sure, your team lost. But, it was one bad 7-loss team beating a team with literally the worst Super Bowl defense ever, move on. If lock-outs and Goodell’s master plan of absurd parity weren’t at play, this was a game that would have happened on Wildcard Weekend. In about 48 minutes, no one will ever remember who won Super Bowl 48(?). But, you gotta admire the Chutzpah of the dude in the Cruz jersey. Not only will we wear his victorious garb amongst an angry throng of the unwashed masses, but he’ll salsa dance on their front porch all night long.
The pain of a punch to the back of the dome is temporary, the memory of salsa dancing on the Pats grave is truly eternal, and well worth it.
