The Ol’ Gunslinger & Co. Save The Day For Childress, For Now…

Damn that ol’ Gunslinger. Every time you see Brett Favre scrambling late in the game down a score, you know fireworks are about to happen. Just this time it wasn’t the laughable pick 6 nor the JaMarcus-like fumble. Favre prevailed, much to my dismay because I really wanted to see Brad Childress get canned tomorrow.Â
Think about the year he’s had:
-Has to send his team captains down to get Favre when he couldn’t
-Back-and-forth purse fight with Favre via the media over Favre’s play
-Cutting Randy Moss and sticking the owner with a $3 million bill without ownership consent
-Calling out Percy Harvin this week for not practicing (I think severe migraines and a bad ankle are sufficient reasons to miss practice)
-Oh, and the supposed Super Bowl contender Vikings were just minutes from 2-6
A complete resume of reasons to fire Brad Childress, and this has been just the last 3 months. Favre owns Childress, plain and simple. Randy Moss wasn’t going to subject himself to that locker room. What are the Vikings waiting for? What do they have to lose?
C’mon Minnesota ownership your team sucks - give us some non-Favre entertainment and can the guy who clearly can’t stand up to a Mississippi diva.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he fires himself. That would go along with the circus that is their team or the NFL for that matter. Better yet, Farve should hold a press conference and fire Chile himself.

You know you have lost total control of your team when you ask, not tell, a player to get an MRI and he tells you to stick it…. Seriously, he needs to get the hell out of the way in Minnesota and let the ‘ole gun slinger run the ship while he watches from the back seat because he obviously cannot coach a lick.
