All right! What more does this boring sports world need than Brett Favre being back in the news? Nobody has talked about baseball since opening day (except Roy Oswalt is now asking for a trade, here come the Yankees!), the NBA Conference Finals are a few days from being double sweeps (TAS OTH), the in your face coverage of the NFL Draft is done, and nothing in golf. And the NHL doesn’t count.
So the saga begins with him having ankle surgery today.
I only need one sentence to comment on this:
What a selfish prima donna asshole – have that surgery 4 months ago, dick.

Who gives a fuck when he has surgery? Is Brandon Marshall a dick too for having hip surgery when he did? Its not Favre’s fault ESPN and others jump on and report his every move. Its pretty hilarious really how they work and what they report. Apparently they think his decision to return hinges on the So.Miss baseball too. Its not his fault the media are complete morons and take everything he does or says and try to make a huge deal or story from it.

Decent Teamate: How does having surgery earlier make him healthier? Are you butt hurt because Favre doesn’t do bear crawls and crab walks 3 months before the season, and you do? Will you be upset if you don’t get your mandatory 2 quarters of playing time? When did the NFL turn into Kidsports? Bev Smith has enough to deal with.
