USC to give back Reggie Bush’s Heisman

The Trojan family honors and respects the USC sporting careers of those persons whose actions did not compromise their athletic program or the opportunities of future USC student-athletes. Accordingly, I have instructed the senior vice president for administration to remove athletic jerseys and murals displayed in recognition of O.J. Mayo and Reggie Bush by mid-August — before the incoming class of students moves on campus — from Heritage Hall, the Galen Center and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The university also will return Mr. Bush’s 2005 Heisman Trophy to the Heisman Trophy Trust in August.

Is there anything more lame than going back into time a ripping awards and records from players and teams?
This is what went down in 2005: Reggie Bush mobbed, SC choked in the Rose Bowl, and they made Vince Young a ton of money in the process. Those are facts, we saw them and this retroactive bull shit means nothing.
PS-does all of this ripping of SC’s accomplishments in 05 mean that this never happened?
PSX2-not that I remember that play (or any others from that game) really, as it was during my legendary black-out-and-piss-on-a-sorority-girl-in-the-stands-game

What difference does it make if guy is getting paid, he still mobbed on the field. Nice “clip” btw. I’m now ready for college football after hearing the ABC music, love it!
