By saying SC wont "run with those teams" you kinda did say it would be 'easy."
Shocking that you got gut-hooked by a jab at Tebow, and it only took you a mere 12 seconds to respond. No one with any semblance of a brain could say with a straight face that Timmy Two-Yard wasn't a really, really good college football player.
As far as academics, dude, of the major conferences, the Pac sits alone, high atop the mountain. Stanford, Cal, USC, UCLA and UW are all extremely elite. In fact, only OSU isn't a first tier University amongst its Pac10 brethren
Heck, Mizzou wants out of the Big12, in-part, because the academic standards are so low in that conference..

Odd. Pac-10 fan crying about overrated again! Broken record.
Never said replacing two legendary college football players will be easy. Or did I?? No, I didnt. Learn how to read.
Urbs offense is legit. Thanks for the props. Tebow did play a BIG role in making that offense great. Read a stat line man.
You really want to talk about how "highly" academics are regarded in a conference that pays it's players?

Apparently replacing Tebow and McCoy is going to be easy as pie? Makes sense really. Being that everyone knew Timmy was vastly overrated and a mere product of Urbs offense and the athletes that surrounded him.
PS, Mick, BSU won't join the Pac10 due to their lack of academics. What do you think this is, the Big12?

USC may have another legit class of players but they still won't run with Texas, Florida, and 'Bama this year. I do hope the Boise and Utah join the PAC-10 so NW crybabies can drop the "no respect" whinning I can hear in Colorado.
WAR Florida Gators in 2010!

All I got to say is that USC will be back on top this year, duck fans enjoy this years title because its going back to LA this year. Barkley in his sophomore campaign will start to turn into the leader that, Palmer and dirty Sanchez were. They have the number 2 recruiting class this year

I actually agree with TD--the Ducks look to be loaded at DB. Harris showed he has the chops to play, Boyett was probably better in coverage as a frosh than Ward ever was, Mathis and Dargin are big recruits. If Lowe is better on that side off the ball, play him there, obviously. Though, I just see him having more value on the offensive side of the ball.
As far a Barner goes, he is electric with the ball in his hands. If the Rose Bowl was a 'launching point' for him, things are looking very bright.

I'm not saying those guys don't seem to be talented because they do, but I know Lowe can be a difference maker at corner. Hey if he's a good natural receiver than fine, let him play there. But I don't want to see him become a project receiver when he would be a impact guy at corner. That's what he was known for at Jesuit. And it's rare that a guy who's known in high school as a defensive stud make the switch at the college level and becomes an offensive stud.
Ski, as for Barner I would keep him at running back. Even if Seastrunk is as good as advertised we could still use 3 reliable runners. We run a shit ton and we know Barner has some skills. As for a return man, whoever doesn't fumble. I'm so sick of fumbles on special teams.

No one really knows were all the incoming recruits are going to be playing, but I'm more interested in knowing what they are going to do with Barner. They are stacked at running back so I don't see him being used there and TD says that were stacked at DB so no need there either and with everyone saying that Keanon and Lache are going to do returns but Barner did that to.
