Alright, soooooo the inaugural PAC-12 Championship game is in the books … Chip can place the trophy in the Ducks trophy case along with all his BCS bowl game wins as head coach … woops! … I meant along with all those accolades as an ass-kicking PAC-12 coach.

Yup. Time for Oregon to STEP UP and win a BCS bowl game to command some respect from everyone East of the Rockies.

So obviously … you … die-hard Ducks fan will tune in and watch Wisconsin vs Michigan State Saturday at 5:17 PST.

Rooting for anyone in particular?

A little worried that UCLA was able to run quite a bit on the Duck defense Friday night?

Worried what a cheese-eating-humongous-Badger-O-Line could do to a Ducks D-Line?

Worried that Michigan State’s D-Line has some run-stoppers?

Don’t consider for a second that Wisconsin is ranked lower than Michigan St … cuz in most people’s mind, the Badgers are the better team. And if you watched the 1st meeting of Wisconsin vs Michigan State this season, you’d agree with me and know that the Badgers are better. But all that chatter means nuttin if you don’t play like it.

I’m sure Badger fan is irk’d about losing to the Spartans just as much as Oregon fan is irk’d about losing to the Trojans.

So … do you care who Oregon faces at the Rose Bowl?

Will you watch just to see who the opponent is?

Or do you have a rooting interest?

Do you feel Oregon matches up better against Wisconsin or Michigan State?

I believe the Spartans are the better match for Oregon, but I could be wrong. Just my opinion, but Badger QB Russell Wilson is a baller that would give Aliotti and his D fits. Kid can make plays in the pocket or scramble out and make a play sandlot style. Wilson is the bigger threat than Spartan Cousins.

So I ask this … WHO DO YOU WANT?

Do you want Wisonsin cuz you want Oregon to beat the best that the BIG-Whatever has to offer?

Or do you want Michigan State cuz that could be the easier game … so Oregon doesn’t have to point to Colorado in 2002 as their last BCS bowl win?
