7:31: Almost tip-off time, settling down on the couch with a 5th of Jack daniels, can the Ducks get a win at McKale? Gee, I sure hope so!

7:38: Okay, maybe it really wasn’t that close to tip. darn you FSN and Barry Tompkins, you are sooo tricky. Oh well…..time for a mixed drink!

7:39: Williams with a free throw, 1-0 Zona, game over..

7:40: Jacobs with the deuce, Oregon leads!

7:41: Dunnigan with the monster jam and the Ducks with a transition bucket, 6-3 Ducks. Look at this, we’re doubling up the Cats!

7:43: Time for a shot!

7:43: Gross! I’m talking about my shot, not the Ducks airball.

7:45: Barry Tompkins with this gem: “it’s very important for Oregon to keep this close.”  I love that kind of insight.

7:49: Switched to the UW-Cal game. Cal is crushing the fraudulent Huskies. Is it just me, or is ‘Romar Ball’ more suited for the Greenlake Rec center than it is Division 1? By the way, UO is up 12-9.

7:52: Noticing that Oregon and Washington are wearing black unis tonight, Beaver fans cannot be pleased.

7:55: Some dude from Zona named Nat…..? with a sweet bank shot.

7:56: Zona up 17-16. Hey at least it’s still close, right? Big Ern’s crew showing growth! Shot number 2, down the hatch.

8:01: 8-0 Zona run, Garrett Sim sucks, 20-16, Cats.

8:03: Porter misses a long 3 (no way..) but Oregon is hanging tough. Anyone else just waiting for the Ducks to give up their patented 7-26 run to end the half? Switched to Denver and San Antonio, Greg Popovich has awful hair.

8:05: Bored by commercial, shots 3 and 4 went down smooth.

8:07: Dunnigan draws a charging foul on Parrom, weak sauce.

8:09: 22-20, Zona. Do they Cats really have a guy named “MoMo?”

8:12: Jacob (my new man crush) with the put back. And Dunnigan with a huge block, 26-22, Cats with 3:31 left in the half. Timeout.

8:16: Porter misses a 37 footer, good thing he has ‘unlimited range’ as Don Mclean keeps saying…..28-22, Cats. Time for another shot!

8:19: 33-22, cats. Well, that was fun…

8:20: Teondre Willams with a huge 3. Keeping the Ducks close (let me remind you that was one of Barry Thompkins keys for UO to have a chance to win)

HALFTIME: 36-28, Cats. Can you say ‘moral victory?’ What was that, my 6th shot? Hmm…just killed my Jack and Coke as well, I’m on fire!

8:37: Realizing this may be Ernie’s last trip to the desert made me sad, so I took another shot, it’s getting hazy.

8:40: Start of the second half, Cats immediately up 10. Oops, make that 12. Oregon is awful playing man-to-man, and even worse in the zone. Good times.

8:45: Dunnigan make 1 of 2 FTs in the face of a fan waving a baby. In your face bad parent! 42-29, Cats

8:46: It is now a ‘Dunk-a-thon’ for the Wildcats. 3 dunks and a layup to open the half. I wonder which coach made the halftime adjustments? Another layup on an “and-1″, 47-29, Cats.

8:48: Going double time with these shots.

8:50: My liver hates me.

8:55: 53-36, Cats. Oregon with 6 turnovers this half. I will now be playing the “Oregon turnover drinking game.” Wish me luck. There is number 7, damn.

8:56: Porter just tied Stevin ‘headache/I throw games’ Smith for 2nd in the Pac10 for alltime 3 pointers made. If that doesn’t seal a moral victory tonight, I don’t know what does!

9:02: 58-41, Cats, I am numb. Is it from the Ducks performance, or the booze? Meh, who cares, party in at my house!*

* I am actually all by myself.

9:05: Is it just me, or does Don Mclean mentioning Jud Buechler as an all-time great Wildcat, just seem strange?

9:08: 8 minutes left, 16 point Wildcat lead. Yuk. Though I just learned that Zona coach Sean Miller was the guy who made the pass on Jerome Lanes backboard shattering dunk back in the day. SEND IT IN JEROME!!!! What is this, shot #10?

9:11: I’ve turned the lights out. Yeah, kinda sad and creepy.

9:13. No clue what the score is, assuming it’s bad, borderline blackout.

9:19: 68-50, Cats. Who really cares at this point. but as Don Mclean says “at least Dunnigan is establishing himself in the post now…”

9:21: The old gray hairs at McKale are now chanting for some random walk-on. Being an Oregon fan sucks. Bottoms up!

9:31: Guzzling the remaining Jack, no clue what the final score was, the lady friend will be finishing this post…

9:32: Hey world, Oregon is awful, they lost 57-70. Before I take my loser to the hospital to get his stomach pumped, let me take this opportunity to say, go Buckeyes! I know this isn’t really topical anymore, but it was great to see my Bucks crush the Ducks in Pasadena!
