Are My Eyes Deceiving Me?

I woke up this morning and did my usual routine, grabbed my phone and headed for the crapper. While taking care of business I used my phone to check some high school hoops scores (there’s an app for that.) Much to my surprise I saw the score in the Oregon @ USC game listed as Oregon 54 – USC 44, I thought there had to be a mistake. Afterall they were down 10 close to halftime the last time I checked. I figured they were on their way to getting down 25 in the 2nd half only to fight back and lose by 10 or so. Pretty much their Modus Operandi for the season. So I hopped online and checked Yahoo! Sports, same score. ESPN? Go Ducks.com? Register Guard? Oregon Live? They all had the same score, so I guess it must be true. While I’m still in a state of shock that the Ducks won down in LA, I’m also absolutely entertained that USC scored a whopping 12 points in the second half. Marinate on that for a little bit… 12 freaking points in 20 minutes of basketball, what a joke the pac-10 has become. Anyway, I’ll have more thoughts on the Oregon program and Ernie Kent later tonight. Consider yourself teased.
