OKC(Durant) = Filthy

Keep twisting the knife, Durant. Doing what you do against other teams is tough enough to take, but when you do against the Blazers, it hurts a little more. 33 pts. & 11 reb in a 89-77 win, is doing what you do. JFP.. not yet in Bowie territory though.
What could have been…

With the first pick in the NBA draft, the Portland Trailblazers select…Kevin Durant? Imagine that! It’s way too early to compare this to picking Sam Bowie over Jordan but every game it starts looking more and more similar. Durant is no MJ although I swear that every time I turn on sportscenter he’s dropping another 30+ points and leading his team to victory.

No way Brandon Roy would accept a young guy coming in and stealing shots from him, that would have been a disaster.

Don’t want to hear it… only thing worse than the Blazers making another AWFUL first overall lottery pick is not having the legislature and city support to keep the team that DID draft the talent (God I hate you and everything you’ve done to turn that team into something Sam Presti).
B Roy would’ve been happier than a Dawg stompin’ out a duck to have consistent production like this. You’re telling me you’d rather have Martell Webster(love him but…) over KD? Roy is a winner and would’ve done everything to make the team a playoff contender. Am I saying they could have kept them both there after this year or next… no, but hopefully these kids would’ve wanted to just hoop and win, knowing they’ll get paid down the road.
