Blazers clinch playoff spot

With the beat down tonight against the Knicks and with the Grizzlies and Rockets losing the Blazers have locked themselves up a spot for the playoffs. Where they will finish the season is still to be determined, but just making the playoffs this year with all the injuries the Blazers have suffered is impressive. And with the addition of Camby and the starters finally clicking together they should at least make the playoffs fun to watch. Hell they might win a round depending on who we play first round.

Portland may be able to steal a game or two in the playoffs, but no way will they advance a round.

I happened to catch ‘Blazer Theater’ showing the ’98 ncca championship. The game had Doleac, Maglore, Padgett, Nazr, and Miller to name a few. Tubs was coaching UK and Majeras (should be on that list) for Utah. Foreshadowing? I’ve never seen a guy (Miller) look and play exactly the same 12 yrs later. The dude can ball and is smarter than most of the league.
